Rita Ellen deJong, 75, Bethany, MO passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
She was born on January 16, 1950, in Post Falls, Idaho the daughter of Cecil and Nellie (Bergman) Harrison.
Rita graduated from Post Falls High School in Idaho. On August 12, 1971, she married Marinus deJong in Spokane, Washington. He survives of the home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Nellie Harrison; brother, Dennis Harrison; and sister, Marsha (Harrison) Suman.
In addition to her husband, Rita is survived by her two daughters, Marina (Andre) Remmers, Bethany, MO and Maryke (Brian) Willis, Cainsville, MO; three grandsons, Brian Willis, Aurora, NE, Jesse Jennings, Bethany, MO, Mark Willis, Cainsville, MO; great granddaughter, Brynlee Willis, Aurora, NE; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 9 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in McFall Cemetery, McFall, MO. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the McFall Cemetery in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424.
