DOUGLAS COUNTY— The Douglas County Underwater Search and Recovery team Monday morning recovered the body of a 20-year-old Olathe man from Clinton Lake.
Divers located the body of the kayaker in an area near where witnesses reported he went under water about 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening near Clinton Marina. The dive team resumed searching Monday morning at daylight.
Authorities have not released the victim's name.

DOUGLAS COUNTY —Crews are searching for a missing kayaker in Clinton Lake in Clinton Lake.
Just after 5:30p.m. Sunday, emergency crews responded to Clinton Lake near Clinton Marina on a report of a boater who tipped over in a kayak, went into the water and did not resurface, according to a statement from the Douglas County Sheriff's office.
Just after 9p.m., the Douglas County Underwater Search and Recovery team suspended their search due to darkness. The team will resume the search Monday morning
