
KANSAS CITY—Authorities are investigating the cause of house fire in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just after 11a.m. Wednesday, crews responded to a reported house fire in the 700 block of NE 98th Terrace, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins
On arrival crews reported heavy smoke and fire from a 1 1/2 story occupied home. The occupants were not home at the time of the fire. Interior operations were initiated using multiple handlines. Searches of the structure were conducted and came back all clear. No injuries were reported at this incident. Crews were able to get the fire under control in approximately 20 minutes.
