DEKALB COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 8p.m. Saturday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Subaru CrossTrek driven by a 53-year-old Lathrop man was eastbound on U.S. 36 at SW Taylor Road three miles west of Stewartsville. The vehicle struck a deer in the road.
DeKalb Clinton ambulance transported a 56-year-old passenger to Mosaic in St. Joseph. The driver was not injured. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
