JEFFERSON COUNTY —A Kansas woman died in an accident just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday in Jefferson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Chevy Blazer driven by Connie Wistuba, 83, Winchester, was northbound on 3rd Street at Winchester Street in Winchester. The SUV drifted off the road to the right and made contact with a building.
Wistuba was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Barnett's Funeral Home. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
