A true daughter of northern Missouri, Sara Lynn Campbell, 26, of Eagleville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Sara was born just after lunch on July 21, 1998, at Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa. She attended North Harrison Schools and graduated from North Harrison High School in 2016. She attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.

Sara was a woman who wore many hats - both figuratively and literally. A natural entrepreneur and lover of the land and of animals, she also expressed herself through her keen eye for fashion.

Sara grew up on the family farm in Eagleville, spending her days caring for the land and animals. She spent years showing livestock, earning distinction as she developed her skills. Sara especially enjoyed showing her prize sheep and hogs, roping, tending her cattle, and cuddling with her dog Charlie. But spending time farming in northern Missouri, and surrounding herself with friends and family, were Sara’s true passions.

Sara lived life to the fullest, she was a true social butterfly. If she wasn’t out in the field, hauling grain, working livestock, or planning next season’s planting schedule, Sara was the center of the party. She will be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Sara was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wayne (Marilyn) Campbell and Ralph (Barb) Klingston. She is survived by Gary Campbell, of Eagleville; Rachel Klingston (Tony Veach), of Lamoni; Steven (Brian) Lock-Campbell, of Kansas City; Ashley (Tony) Young, of Leon; Jake (Jen) Veach, of Garden Grove; Tom (Sharon) Campbell, of Warsaw; Bill (Patty) Campbell, of Olathe, Kansas; Jeanie Campbell, of Eagleville; Eric (Gloria) Klingston, of Osceola; Beth Klingston, of Osceola; Shane (Tiffany) Campbell, of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio; Brant (Jen) Campbell, of Kansas City; Zach Campbell, of St. Joseph; Dalton (Carrie) Klingston, of Osceola; Dylan Whitmire, of Blythedale; Hannah (Trevor) Waddell, of Davis City; Sydney Garrett, of Osceola; and Hunter Garrett, of Grand River.

Sara has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home in Eagleville. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Community Christian Church, 18387 US-69, Eagleville, MO 64442. Funeral services will be the following day, Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., also at Community Christian Church.
