SHAWNEE COUNTY —The subject of a Silver Alert has been found dead. On Wednesday evening, Topeka Police canceled the Silver Alert for 68-year-old Kevin Remfry who was last sen at the end of March around the area of SW 22nd and SW Belle Avenue in Topeka, according to a media release from police. He was found deceased and police notified his family.
On Tuesday evening, police issued a Silver Alert requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.
