HARRISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before noon Saturday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Hyundai Tucson driven by a 30-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, woman was attempting to back the SUV from a parking spot at the East Casey's General Store in Bethany. The SUV struck an 88-year-old St. Joseph man who was walking across the parking lot to go into the store.
North Missouri EMS transported the pedestrian to Harrison County Community Hospital. The SUV driver was not inured. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
